Luxury motorhome hire - questions

Here are some frequently asked questions about our luxury motorhome hire.

If you have any questions which aren't included here, contact our team by phone or email, and we'll be happy to help in any way we can.

We have two versions of our luxury motor vehicles.

Our standard luxury vehicles are 3 metres in height, 8.9 metres long and 2.35 metres wide, so a bit bigger than most of the campervans you see on the road, but it still weighs less than 3.5 tonnes and therefore is driveable with a standard car driving licence.

Our Ultra Luxe vehicles are similar in height, width and length as our standard vehicles; however they do weigh more and have a different larger living space layout. For those that passed your driving test after 1st January 1997 who will require a category C1 licence for Medium Sized Vehicles if you wish to drive this vehicle instead of having it delivered to site. Our preference with this vehicle is that we deliver it to site for you.

Are motorhomes are very simple to drive with automatic gearbox, reversing camera and large wing mirrors.  The high driving position and large windows ensure excellent visibility.  A driving demo will be done when the vehicle is handed over, and once you're used to the increased size and controls we're sure yopu'll find it a pleasant experience.

For a simple overnight stay, our motorhomes can run off gas and self-charging batteries - there's plenty of power to see you through the night. For longer stays we would recommend a generator or electric hook up, especially if you'll be useing the Air Conditioning.

Our motorhomes can be parked in any legally permitted space.  This can be on a single yellow line in a town, in a layby in the countryside or in a more structured holiday environment.

There are a large number of pubs and restaurants across the country with large parking facilities who welcome Gmotorhomes of this size.

EnergyRV is a member of Brit Stops which offers overnight parking accommodation in more than 1,000 pubs, farms, vineyards and other interesting places across the UK.

EnergyRV is based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire - which is the main location for collection and return of motorhomes.  We have plenty of space for you to leave your normal vehicle free of charge for the duration of the hire, which is locked and secured overnight.

We are near to Aylesbury, Haddenham & Thame, and Princes Risborough train stations, and we'll be happy to send someone to collect you if you wish to get the train to begin your trip.

EnergyRV can also deliver the motorhome to just about any location in the UK.

At EnergyRV, we start work early and finish late, so we can be quite flexible for most hires. However, if we have to do a quick turnaround of the motorhome, we may request that the vehicles are picked up after 9:30am and returned by 4pm.

You can request very early and late times, but there may be a small additional charge.

Every hire comes with a full tank of diesel, so you should factor that in when trying to price up your trip.

There are 4 three-point seat belts in our motorhomes (driver seat, passenger seat and two on the long seat behind the table).  A standard child seat will attach to each of these.

Yes, our motorhomes are quite spacious, so there is space for a small travel cot (70cm x 100cm). Please contact our team if you have any questions.
